Operating Principle: The wastewater is fed to the inlet of the inclined clarifier and flows downward. Due to the arrangement of the lamella plates inside the clarifier, the water is redirected below the lamellas and then flows upwards through the plates. As a result, solids settle onto the lamellas and the clarified water is directed to the outlet. The solids gradually slide down along the lamella plates, where the sludge funnel is located.

Rake Mechanism: Optionally, we offer the inclined clarifier equipped with a rake mechanism, which keeps the sludge in a flowable condition.
Application: Separation of solids and liquids by sedimentation. Inclined clarifiers are often used as a pre-stage before filter presses or decanters for thickening. By pre-thickening thin sludge, the filter press can be designed with a smaller filter area.
The plant is in good condition and is available for rental or purchase. An inspection at our facility can be arranged by appointment. We also offer new inclined clarifiers with a lead time of approx. 8 to 10 weeks!
