CNC-controlled gear grinding machine
The Siemens CNC control system allows input of all relevant gear data and workpiece setup via dialogue with the control. Programming language (German/English) switchable, and DNC interface for data input and output.
The machine operates in a continuous generating grinding process with automatic grinding cycle and automatic on-machine dressing of the grinding wheel.
The workpiece swivel angle is positioned electronically, quickly and accurately and hydraulically clamped, resulting in shorter setup times and easier part loading.
The shift grinding device guides the workpiece tangentially past the grinding wheel during grinding, ensuring a consistently uniform grinding wheel profile is always engaged.
Hydraulic workpiece clamping with external collet and tailstock in the workpiece slide, complete working area enclosure with sliding doors, separate control and electrical cabinet, separate hydraulic unit in enclosure.
