Proton's energy storage systems are based on innovative LiFePO4 technology, which delivers high energy efficiency and an extremely long lifespan with several thousand charge/discharge cycles. LiFePO4 batteries offer high energy density, allowing large amounts of energy to be stored in compact spaces. Additionally, these cells have a low self-discharge rate and are immune to the "memory effect" that affects older battery types like Ni-Cd, Ni-MH, or AGM.
