ME-LINE – Air-cooled dehumidifiers are used for air drying in environments with up to 100% relative humidity (RH) at temperatures of +45°C and above.
EU-LINE – Air-cooled dehumidifiers are designed for air drying with up to 100% relative humidity (RH) at temperatures ranging from -30°C to +40°C.
Rust is the adversary of freshly blasted steel; high humidity combined with low steel temperatures creates ideal conditions for moisture condensation on the newly blasted surface.
Condensation-induced rust is one of the main causes of premature coating failure. By reducing relative humidity, Proton dehumidifiers are engineered to create the optimum climatic conditions for blasting operations.
Climatic conditions worldwide vary considerably – from cool and damp in Western Europe to hot and humid in the Middle East, and warm and humid in the Far East. Various dehumidification technologies can be employed in this process; certain technologies perform better in specific climate conditions than others.
Every Proton dehumidifier is manufactured to the highest quality standards and features regional certification.
The core of the dehumidifier is a highly efficient and robust metal silicate rotor. The rotor contains numerous air channels running parallel to the shaft, providing a large internal surface area for the adsorption of water vapor. Oversaturation does not affect the rotor. Therefore, the PROTON dehumidifier’s rotor can withstand extended storage in high humidity without any loss of capacity.
PROTON dehumidifiers have been specially developed for corrosion protection in conjunction with sandblasting and coating work, to preserve materials and avoid moisture-related issues. They meet the following criteria:
• Available in sizes ranging from 1,000 m³/h to 18,000 m³/h dry air.
• Available in pre-cooled and post-cooled versions for warm climates.
• Robust construction with steel frame, lifting lugs, etc.
• Key components are easily maintained and replaced.
• Large air inlet grilles and filters.
• Can be installed in containers for protection.
• Adjustable dehumidification performance and air outlet temperature in 4 levels.
• Suitable for outdoor and indoor use.
• Dry air pressure up to 1200 Pa.
