Peletto FP-10

FP-10 plate filter with pump is a compact, semi-professional device designed for the filtration of various liquids, particularly vegetable oils. With a throughput of up to 25 liters per hour, it is the ideal solution for home use and small-scale production facilities. Due to its small footprint and ease of use, it serves as a portable everyday device, requiring only regular cleaning for operation.

The heart of the unit is a self-priming rotary lobe pump, manufactured by the Italian company ROVER POMPE SNC using NOVAX technology. This high-efficiency pump features a star-shaped rotor enabling bi-directional liquid flow. Its special hydraulic design allows the pump to operate even in the presence of air bubbles, ensuring continuous and stable performance. All surfaces in contact with liquids are precisely finished to enhance chemical and mechanical resistance while guaranteeing food safety.

The pump delivers the liquid to the filter block where filter plates are installed. The system can accommodate 6 to 10 filter inserts, which increases filtration capacity. The plates are arranged in parallel to maximize contaminant removal efficiency. For optimal vegetable oil filtration, filters with a permeability of 45 microns are recommended and the oil temperature should be maintained at approximately 35°C to achieve better flow and cleaning effectiveness.

A manometer is installed in front of the filter block to monitor pressure and assess filter condition. A marked increase in pressure indicates the need to replace the filter inserts. The FP-10 set allows the hose between the pump and filter block to be disconnected, enabling the pump to be used for other liquid transfer tasks.
