This surface grinding machine with fixed table is based on the R.V. 500 model but differs due to its long, quadruple-bearing column with additional, sturdy column support. Thanks to its rigidity and geometric stability, this surface grinder is ideal for grinding precision components of considerable height: single parts or series components from toolmaking, dies, molds, gears, and much more. The nuts of the vertical feed spindle and the dowel pins for axis alignment in this fixed-table grinder ensure long-term optimal working conditions.

Cast iron column protected by bellows and supported by four adjustable precision bearings, generously dimensioned for this type of fixed-table grinder. Three-phase motor with dual-sheath air cooling to prevent motor overheating during continuous operations and to keep the temperature of the motor shaft and bearings constant. Hardened, ground, and dynamically balanced shaft, supported in precision ball bearings, generously sized for this type of fixed-table grinder, and self-adjusting via spring pre-tensioning to compensate for thermal expansion. Vertical feed spindle with opposing adjustable ball bearings ensures optimal movement, keeping the grinding wheel area clear of obstructions and preventing dust build-up in this fixed-table grinder model. Metallic bellows offer enhanced protection for the grinder’s vertical feed spindle. Opposing bronze nuts compensate for wear of the vertical feed spindle over time.
