The prone-to-failure Güttinger control system was replaced with the modern BEMA X control system. This means the machine also received a completely new electrical system as part of this upgrade.

Machine equipped with a reinforced workpiece spindle head for chuck grinding of heavy workpieces.

Currently, the machine does not meet the fundamental safety and protection requirements specified in the German Ordinance on Industrial Safety and Health (BetrSichV 2015).
Raising the required minimum safety standard must be determined by means of a risk assessment according to BetrSichV.
