Thanks to the material-preserving shredding unit and optimized extrusion process, with X you can sustainably achieve your zero-waste production targets (all production waste is recycled). Plastic waste is processed by a heavy-duty, low-speed shredding unit to ensure minimum loss of material properties. During this process, a hydraulic pusher feeds the waste toward the shredding shaft. Shredder and extruder drives are individually and automatically controlled based on load conditions. After shredding, the ground material is transferred directly to the extruder via a feed screw. In the extruder, the material is brought to a consistent melt temperature and, if necessary, degassed. All components are positioned close together to prevent oxidation of the material and to make the best use of the heat generated during shredding. In a single processing step, slow-rotating shredder blades grind the plastic waste, and the ground material is continuously conveyed to the extruder via the feed screw. Large, thick, or bulky waste can be processed directly as long as it fits into the hopper, without the need for pre-shredding. The control system ensures smooth start-up of all equipment components. After an unexpected shutdown, the system can be restarted in less than two minutes, even with a full hopper and extruder. The material level in the hopper is continuously measured and the feed is adjusted accordingly. Irregular conveyor feeding is possible—the NGR control unit takes care of the rest.
