Base Structure:
The fundamental structure is a monolithic, thick-walled steel construction, reinforced across the entire machine bed with welded box sections for exceptional stability. The specially designed, wide-base machine bed ensures lasting precision and rigidity. The supporting structure consists of a robust monolithic steel pedestal with heavy ribbing for maximum stiffness; the especially broad base is designed to provide machine stability, ensuring continuous precision regardless of working conditions, with no need to anchor the machine to the floor. The pedestal offers a large, solid foundation for the movable gantry: the work unit benefits from a balanced, stable, and resilient support able to withstand maximum loads, resulting in higher-quality performance and greater accuracy.

The movable gantry is a solid single component fixed to the base, running on high-quality prism guides with recirculating ball carriages. The working unit is mounted on this gantry and travels in Y and Z axes via prism guides with recirculating ball carriages.

Movement of the lower movable unit (X-axis) and the working unit along the gantry’s Y-axis is achieved via helical rack-and-pinion drive, delivering greater tooth engagement for higher acceleration and increased speed on X and Y axes. The custom-engineered helical gearing minimizes wear on mechanical components and ensures quieter operation.

Vertical Z-axis movement is driven by a recirculating ball screw, providing perfect balance under dynamic loads and supporting rapid acceleration and deceleration. The main milling unit is directly attached to the Z-axis carriage, guaranteeing maximum precision in machining operations.
