Centreless cylindrical grinding machine

MONZESI ROSSI MONZA 1500, currently undergoing overhaul and complete electrical/electronic retrofitting.

Equipped with Siemens electronics featuring touchscreen, brushless motor on Z-axis (workpiece diameter) and regulating wheel (variable RPM), stepper motor for incremental dressing of the grinding wheel, and automatic size compensation after grinding wheel dressing.

Grinding wheel dimensions: 350 mm x 610 mm diameter.

This machine can be inspected at our warehouse in Gussago (BS), Italy.

Plunge grinding:
Ksdpfsmmqirjx Aldelu

In the plunge grinding process, workpieces with reduced or contoured external surfaces—such as injector needles, valves, crosspins, gear and electric motor shafts—are machined. Possible methods include straight or angular plunge grinding, single or multiple plunge grinding, plunge grinding in several simultaneous or sequential operations, as well as oscillating plunge grinding. Through-feed grinding is employed for machining non-profiled workpieces, such as cylindrical and tapered rollers, rings, bars, and hydraulic slides. This grinding method is highly productive and particularly suitable for series and mass production of precision components.
