The sorter consists of:
a) three roller conveyor lines with 72 dispatch stations;
b) one roller conveyor line;
c) alongside each dispatch line (3 lines) and the returns line (1 line) runs a line (belt conveyor) for removing unnecessary cartons (leading outside the building to a baler container – the container itself is not part of the offer);
d) one merge chute line for parcels with 46 locations, equipped with a scanner for determining the size and weight of individual parcels.

The capacity of this sorter is rated at 6,000 parcels per hour. The valuation includes additional photographic documentation illustrating the technical condition of the evaluated items and their components, as well as a detailed breakdown of the sorter's components.

The sorting process involves preparing parcels for shipment and assigning them to a specific carrier. Goods should be packed in a box or polybag. An operator then scans the item and generates a label for the box or polybag. Information about the parcel/container is sent by the sorter to the MHS controller (VanRiet). Meanwhile, the box/container is loaded onto the feed line by an operator. Products are transported down the line and then merged onto a single conveyor line. At the end of the merge, a scanner with a camera identifies the product, measures its dimensions, and the product is sorted to the designated chute (pick-up point for outbound parcels).

The MHS (VanRiet) sorter is adapted to handle products of various dimensions. It can process cartons from 150-800 mm in length, 100-600 mm in width, 10-400 mm in height, and weighing from 0.25 kg to 32 kg. Polybags from 200-550 mm in length, 150-550 mm in width, 13-400 mm in height, and weighing from 0.25 kg to 10 kg.

The MHS (VanRiet) sorter can handle up to 6,000 parcels per hour, with dispatches sorted into one of 46 directions. A general diagram of the sorter is shown below. Lines 1-3 are dispatch lines, and line 4 (added in 2020) is designated for handling returns.
