PRODUCT FEATURES
The Maggi Ms704 is a multi-spindle boring machine designed specifically for fast production of bespoke furniture.
The MS 704 is a compact unit capable of handling the entire manufacturing process, from carcass drilling to the fitting of lift-up fronts and any brand of system drawers.
The machine facilitates all types of drilling required in furniture assembly: confirmats, dowels, connectors, guide holes, shelf supports, hinge cups, mounting holes for slides and actuators.
The table width of 740mm, without removing side fences, enables effortless drilling of carcasses with above-standard depths. The machine features a patented 1500mm measuring frame, allowing operation independently of the 32mm system, providing flexibility for processing materials up to 3000mm long.
A new concept for furniture component drilling enables rapid machining without the need for frequent machine retooling. The measuring frame is a fixed component of the unit.
Unlike conventional boring machines, the main operational axis is perpendicular to the spindle head, not parallel.
The MS 704 is additionally fitted with an adjustable pressure beam, allowing for processing material thicknesses up to 200mm.
The clamps are powered by independent circuits and are equipped with valves for safe operation, allowing one clamp to be disabled when machining smaller components.
Standard equipment includes a drill bit magazine and a complete set of spacers for workpiece positioning parallel to the spindle head axis.
