Description:
The new carpentry chainsaw ZSX-TWIN Ec is the practical solution for processing large-dimensioned timber components. With the development of the twin-motor chainsaw, MAFELL has created a new dimension, allowing tasks that were previously nearly impossible and time-consuming to be carried out effortlessly and with precision. With a rated output of 3,000 watts, even a single CUprex motor pushes the 230 V power supply to its limit. Two CUprex motors at once would overwhelm any standard single-phase electrical circuit. By distributing the load across two circuits, the twin-motor ZSX receives the power it requires. This level of performance is ensured by the three-phase power supply, since the phases are individually fused and the network is protected from overload during operation.

Benefits:
Thanks to the use of single-phase technology, the ZSX TWIN weighs only 20 kg, despite a power rating of 6,000 watts. This enables longitudinal cuts with cutting depths up to 400 mm! In timber construction and when cutting solid wood wall elements, corner cutouts are often required. Thanks to the vertically positioned cutting tool, cutouts and lap joints can be produced quickly and accurately. Time-consuming repositioning of timber components is eliminated. The heart of the ZSX-TWIN Ec are its two 3,000-watt single-phase motors. They are run in parallel off two 230 V phases from the three-phase network. The ZSX can be tilted exactly from -15° to 60° according to scale.
