Following Trens' declaration of insolvency, we are making every effort to fully overhaul TOS and later Trens lathes. All machines are disassembled down to the last screw.

Here’s an overview of our general overhaul process:
1. Machine cleaning and disassembly of individual components
2. Grinding: Bed, carriage, cross slide, spindle, tailstock quill
3. Grinding and scraping of cross slide guideways, replacement of leadscrew with nut and gib strip
4. Scraping of guide surfaces: spindle, carriage, cross slide, and tailstock to geometric tolerance according to the accuracy protocol
5. Replacement: leadscrew, nut, gib strip, and Multifix base for cross slide (including 2 tool holder cassettes)
6. Complete disassembly and replacement of necessary spare parts on the apron, gearbox, headstock, gear casing, tailstock, cross and compound slides
7. Installation or, if necessary, replacement of rack and pinion; repair of leadscrew and feed shaft
8. Complete bearing replacement in all assemblies
9. Full replacement of machine plaques and identification plates
10. Machine priming, sealing, sanding, high-grade polyurethane top coating, and
painting of machine accessories – white RAL 9003, anthracite RAL 7016
11. New control cabinet with electrical components; replacement of main motor, rapid traverse motor, hydraulic pump, wiring, and LED work area lighting
12. Preparation of accuracy report and electrical inspection certificate

13. Inspection and acceptance testing at the factory

All overhauled machines come with CE certification and a 12-month warranty.

CE configuration includes:
- Chuck guard with limit switch
- Front chip guard mounted on carriage
- Rear chip guard
- Covers for leadscrew and feed shaft
- Emergency stop braking within 2 seconds
