Bluhm Weber Legi-Air-4050S Labelling Machine

4.14.1 Basic Structure

The system is designed as an enclosed aluminium profile frame and is constructed in a very compact manner. The control cabinets are integrated in the lower part of the frame. The main valve manifold is installed behind a service door beneath the operator panel.

The system includes four workstation stops. Operation is performed via a touchscreen. The operator panel is mounted on the right side of the frame. A Bluhm Weber labelling system is used at this station; for this, the documentation from Bluhm applies accordingly.

4.14.2 Functional Process

- The incoming workpiece carriers with IO modules are stopped, lifted (positioned), and contacted in sub-stations 10.1 and 10.2.
- In these two stations, there is a check... (sentence incomplete in source).
- Automated labelling of the IO modules occurs in sub-station 10.3. The generation of labels and their content is automatic, as is their application to the units.
- After labelling, the module is finalised in station 10.4. For this, it is stopped, lifted, and contacted. After finalisation, the workpiece carrier is automatically discharged from the station.
