LOIRE SAFE Hydraulic Press – High-Performance System for Toolmaking and Heavy-Duty Forming

This high-performance hydraulic press, designed in a robust four-column portal construction, is specifically engineered for demanding applications in toolmaking (tryout/spotting) as well as for large-format forming processes. The stress-relieved, annealed welded construction ensures maximum rigidity and long-term process stability.

The machine is equipped with three main cylinders featuring multi-cylinder parallel control, achieving high repeat accuracy within ±0.1 mm. The powerful hydraulic system, based on Bosch Rexroth components, operates at a maximum working pressure of approximately 450 bar and allows for precise and forceful processing.

Control is managed via a Siemens S7-317F PLC in combination with servo-controlled axes (Rexroth MLC) and visualization through Siemens WinCC. This allows for fully programmable press cycles, storage of tool parameters, and convenient operation with diagnostic and error management functions.

In terms of safety, the press is comprehensively equipped: front and rear light curtains (category 4), parallelism monitoring of the ram, emergency stop with defined reaction time, and an optional two-hand operation ensure maximum operational safety. The system is CE-compliant and meets the latest safety requirements.

Features include a hydraulic three-section draw cushion, a hydraulic ram cushion, and an extendable table with approx. 4,000 mm stroke. The machine is complemented by a pin bolster according to DIN standards as well as integrated shock dampening for demanding forming processes.
