The Leica BLK3D is a photo-based measurement solution. Every captured photo is a complete measurement record containing height, width, and depth measurements. Measurements can be taken at any time—either instantly on-site with the handheld BLK3D Imager or later using the BLK3D desktop software.

The BLK3D device combines a calibrated stereo camera, measurement sensors, software, and integrated edge detection features to perform image measurements with professional-grade accuracy. Each captured image serves as a full and precise 3D measurement log.
