Advantages of the Kortho GraphicJet 18P

The compact printhead and separate ink tank, combined with a variable standard mounting bracket, allow installation at virtually any position within the production process—whether marking the top of a carton, the side of a tray, or a paper sack.

Each printhead can freely design a print image up to 18 x 500 mm in size. A print image can contain up to eight lines of text, logos, time, date, barcodes, batch numbers, and shift codes in various formats. The displayable character height ranges from 1.5 mm to 18 mm per line. Texts and graphic elements can appear both horizontally and vertically within a single print image.

Automatic numbering

Batch numbers, serialization, pallet numbering, and other variables in various formats. Multiple numbering codes are possible in a single print image.

Automatic date coding

Best-before date, production date, and other variables in various formats such as day of the year, day of the week, week of the year, in Arabic format. Multiple codes are possible in one print image. A date can also be entered directly by the operator at the control unit.

Automatic time coding

The time is controlled via the controller’s timing chip. Various formats are possible. Multiple time codes can appear in one print image.

Automatic shift codes

Up to 25 shift codes can be defined for a maximum of 7 days. Multiple shift codes are possible in one print image.

Graphic images

Logos can be imported as black-and-white bitmaps using the KIGS software. Several images are possible within a single print image (depending on the format size).
