The NC joining modules of the NCFH type 2151B... consist of a robust housing that integrates an absolute value position sensor and a piezoelectric compression and tension force sensor. The compressive or tensile forces acting on the sensor generate a proportional electrical charge in the piezoelectric measuring element, which is converted by the integrated charge amplifier into an analog voltage signal.

The drive motor is an electronically commutated AC servo hollow-shaft motor, controlled by a servo amplifier. Constant rotational speed, i.e., constant traverse speed, is ensured. Standard functions such as pressing to block, to position, force-controlled pressing, as well as positioning to intermediate points are supported.
