Overview
This Kettner Robot 3A palletizing system is designed for the automatic palletizing of shrink-wrapped packs and PET bottle packs onto Euro pallets. The system is currently configured for 6-pack shrink-wrapped bundles of 0.5-litre PET bottles, arranged with 36 packs per layer. The machine is capable of processing various formats, including 0.5-litre single-use PET, 0.5-litre returnable PET, and 1.5-litre single-use PET. The system comprises a blue Kettner robot/palletizing column, a mechanical layer transfer head, infeed conveyors for shrink-wrapped packs, pallet roller conveyors, a pallet elevator/palletizing station, and a safety enclosure. The system is rated for a maximum capacity of up to 68 pallets per hour. The palletizing area is fully enclosed by a wire mesh safety fence with access doors, warning lights, and control devices. This system is suitable for high-speed end-of-line palletizing in beverage production environments.
