Fully hydraulic, heavy-duty automatic bandsaw machine in robust design
For cutting round, square, flat materials as well as tubes and profiles of all grades, especially tool steels and materials that are difficult to machine, such as titanium, Hastelloy, Inconel, etc.

Saw Unit Guidance:

High-performance sawing technology requires backlash-free and low-maintenance guiding systems. Two vertically standing square guide columns, one linear guide unit with backlash-free adjusted carriages, as well as two pre-tensioned and adjustable guide rollers on a guide rail ensure high rigidity and cutting precision. Greater cutting performance, shorter cutting times, higher band life, a maintenance-free guiding system, and high availability characterize the new KASTOtec.

Bandsaw Guidance:

Side guide by hydraulically pre-tensioned carbide sliding guides, with lift-off mechanism for quick blade changes. Back guide by floating-mounted carbide sliding guides. Automatic adjustment of the movable blade guide according to the width of the workpiece being cut.

Material Lift-Off Device:

After the cutting process in automatic cycle, the workpiece is lifted approx. 2 mm away from the saw blade on the infeed side via a material lift-off device while it is clamped (increases blade life).
