Kaltenbach KDXS 1215 - HDM 1432

Kaltenbach drilling and sawing system as a combined unit for use in light to heavy steel construction.

With this Kaltenbach system, steel profiles can be drilled, center-punched, and cut to length in a single operation. Rolled profiles such as I-beam, T-steel, channel steel, angle steel, hollow sections, and flat steel are processed here.

The drilling unit of the system features an automatic tool changer on three drilling spindles, each capable of holding five tool sizes. The tools are positioned with high precision via ball screw spindles and servo motors.

The entire system is equipped with a length measuring device.

Kaltenbach HDM 1432 high-performance circular saw as a vertical saw with swivel mounting for high cutting performance of medium and heavy steel profiles. Working area at 90° mitre cut: 1200 x 450 mm. Mitre adjustment for angle cuts from -45°/90°/+35°. This circular saw unit is equipped with a segment saw blade, diameter 1430 mm. High cutting capacity thanks to a powerful drive.

Feed via ball screw spindle for optimal cutting results and short cycle times.
