The Pyrtec boiler system features an underfeed stoker with an internal grate and burnout grate designed for universal application, making it particularly suitable for a wide range of fuels, from dry wood waste to wet forest wood chips. Max. water content w = 50% corresponds to a wood moisture u of 100%. The complete boiler system is type-approved (Approval No.: 02-221-512) with continuous quality control by TÜV and consists of the following components:

FEED SCREW WITH BARRIER LAYER:
The feed screw conveys the fuel into the firebed and grate area of the combustion block. The robust screw flights in the firebed area are made of heat-resistant chrome steel. The feed pipe is equipped with mounts for the back-burn thermostat and thermal extinguishing valve. Above the screw is the metering hopper with photoelectric sensor for level control of the fuel barrier layer, as required by TRD 414. The drive is provided by a maintenance-free helical gear motor with chain drive and dustproof chain guard. Accessories: Extinguishing valve with dirt trap.

COMBUSTION BLOCK:
The massive combustion block is multiply insulated with high-quality fireclay lining. The fuel feed and grate section consists of the firebed, degassing grate, and descending burnout grate. All these parts are made of highly heat-resistant cast steel (material no. 1.4868), at least 12 mm thick and individually replaceable. This type of primary combustion has proven itself especially for challenging fuels (moist sawmill residues, high bark content, etc.). Ash and foreign objects that fall through the grates can be easily removed from the outside via openings with sealed covers. The horizontal combustion chamber is optimally shaped for complete burnout and offers a large ash space. The furnace door is solidly built, very well insulated, and can be swung out for maintenance thanks to the heavy-duty double hinge.

BOILER:
Horizontal hot water boiler with three-pass design, mounted on the combustion block, insulated and elegantly clad. The insulated boiler front door allows for the installation of an oil or gas burner.

Operating pressure: 3.0 bar
Test pressure: 6.0 bar

FLUE GAS DUST COLLECTOR PYRTEC-140 to PYRTEC-650:
Constructed as an axial cyclone, fully insulated and attached to the boiler. Includes 2 insulated cleaning covers, quick-release ash container, and attachment flange for the flue gas fan.

FLUE GAS DUST COLLECTOR PYRTEC-1000:
Also of axial cyclone design, fully insulated, free-standing for optimal placement. Includes 2 insulated cleaning covers, attachment flange for the flue gas fan, and connection for the ash container.

FLUE GAS FAN:
Fan specifically designed for wood combustion operation, very quiet, motor constructed in a robust, heat-resistant version with spring-mounted heat-dissipating hub. The fan housing can be infinitely rotated at the intake nozzle, outlet nozzle is round.
