Machine for cutting and heat sealing using metallized film from roll,
compatible with preformed trays made of plastic, aluminum, and/or laminated cardboard.
Tray dimensions: max. 280 x 32 h mm. (single row)
Mechanical operating speed: Approx. 400 cycles/hour, depending on the material used and
product characteristics. Operation with vacuum and gas flushing at speed
depending on vacuum level (4 cycles/minute)

OPERATION AND DESCRIPTION:
The FOODPACK 400N is a practical, solidly built machine.
The film unwinding and rewinding system works mechanically, while the sealing plate
is pneumatically operated. The machine is controlled by a programmable logic controller (PLC).
The FOODPACK 400N is designed considering the special humidity conditions
of the operating area. All parts in contact with the product, including the
work table and covers, are made of stainless steel (S/S).
Tray format changeover takes approx. 5 minutes.

MACHINE SECTIONS:
Tray loading section:
The loader consists of a tray guide (the guides ensure correct positioning
of filled trays). After tray insertion,
the operator pushes it into the sealing area via a lever. (Here, a presentation detector permits the next operation
only if the tray is properly positioned.) After heat sealing, the operator must return the mold to the loading position,
remove the sealed tray, and load the next one for the subsequent sealing operation.

Film Unwinding and Rewinding Group:
This group automatically positions the sealing film, unwound from the roll, underneath
the sealing and cutting unit, and rewinds any excess film. This group can also

be fitted with a date coder for printing the production/expiration date. Optionally,
a centering device enables accurate image placement in the middle of the sealing film.

Sealing and Cutting Section:
Here, the film is cut and sealed to the tray (cutting matches the tray’s exact shape).
Once the mold is in the sealing area, the operator presses START and the cycle is executed.
Both top and bottom molds are made according to the chosen tray’s characteristics
and require customization. The sealing plate is electronically timed and
heating parameters must be individually set for each operation. The section is equipped
with a quick mold change system: To release or fix the upper mold, simply turn
the selector knob on the control panel.

Control Panel:
Equipped with a heat regulator for sealing temperature, a timer for sealing time,
and a keypad with display for controlling machine functions,
as well as START, EMERGENCY STOP, main switch, and rapid mold change selector.
