Scope of supply
Brand new Hosokawa Alpine Sugarplex SX 500, including the standalone mill with housing and internal grinding tools (pin discs), 37 kW motor integrated into the mill door.

The Sugarplex is a pin mill specifically designed and constructed for the fine grinding of sugar (also suitable for other products). Its compact size and pressure shock resistant design make this mill highly attractive compared to traditional mills used for fine sugar grinding, such as our UPZ. The footprint of a Sugarplex system is much smaller in comparison, as it only requires a feed screw, a metal detector, and two rotary valves before and after the mill chamber. It does not require air filters, blowers, or the associated piping, which means savings in space, investment, operating costs, cleaning, maintenance, and spare parts.
