Used system consisting of Hosokawa Alpine AFG-R 200 pressure air classifier mill with fluidized bed. The AFG-R is a variant of the standard AFG where one of the nozzles is installed vertically at the bottom of the grinding chamber pointing upwards, thus elevating heavy and difficult-to-grind materials to the point where the air jets from the various nozzles converge.
This equipment is especially suitable for ultra-fine grinding of various products with a precise upper cut point. This pulverizer allows for milling of products in the lower chamber of the machine. Thanks to the different nozzles, the compressed air reduces the particle size of the product to the desired fineness. The upper part is equipped with an air classifier wheel to ensure the required upper particle cut. This guarantees a narrow particle size distribution (PSD). Various adjustments allow for on-the-fly fine-tuning of the fineness.
This micronizer is capable of processing many different product types for a range of industries, such as pharmaceuticals, food, soft minerals, chemicals, etc.
