The Alpine AFC Flake Crusher is used for gentle size reduction of brittle and easily breakable products. It produces granules with low fines content thanks to its gentle crushing action while controlling the maximum permissible particle size without generating unwanted fines. It is used for coarse grinding, producing material ranging from 0.5 to 10 mm depending on the processed product. The AFC can be used for homogenizing mixtures, granulating flakes, breaking up agglomerated materials or lumps, increasing bulk density and improving flowability of clumps. It features a rotary milling tool that can be used in conjunction with a screen selected according to your specific process needs. Screen changes are quick, minimizing equipment downtime.
