CNC HOMAG OPTIMAT BMG 511 /60/12/F/K – numerically controlled gantry machining center for milling and drilling wooden and wood-based components.
Thanks to 5-axis technology, numerous machining operations can be performed without the use of additional aggregates. Any conceivable staircase, door, and window design and their fully automated production are possible. With 5-axis machining centers, production times are drastically reduced.
The center comes standard with a new type of 5-axis electrospindle from the top-tier manufacturer OMLAT, utilizing Cardan joint movement. This electrospindle features liquid cooling, allowing for continuous operation without downtime.
The machine bed is made of SORB TECH material, characterized by zero internal stress and a high vibration damping coefficient, which improves machining quality and extends tool life.
The HOMAG BMG 500 series machining center features high build quality, the result of components impacting machining precision and lifespan. The machine utilizes a gantry frame with dual drives—meaning the gantry moves on two independent guides, eliminating stress transfer and ensuring superior machining accuracy, stability, and vibration absorption compared to standard centers.
