Operation of the spotting press:

Control functions:
The control system features 'Manual' and 'Semi-Automatic' modes.

In manual mode (joystick operation), the following can be performed:

- The table can be extended and retracted hydraulically at up to 30 mm/sec.
- The table can be hydraulically tilted at up to 25 mm/sec. to the set angle.
- The ram plate can be hydraulically lowered, folded down by 90°, and extended up to 180°.
- Operation without pressure is possible.
- Pressure can be set via the monitor.
- Speed can be adjusted between 1 and 10 mm/sec.
- An additional hydraulic cylinder (core pull, etc.) on the tool can be controlled.

In semi-automatic mode:

- The ram can be moved in rapid traverse up to 10 mm/sec.
- Previously entered programs can be processed via the monitor.
- Example:
- 30 t pressure
- Upper stop 300 mm
- Lower max. stop 900 mm
- Speed change point 850 mm
- Rapid traverse at 10 mm/sec
- Pressing speed from 850 mm onwards limited to 10 mm/sec
- Dwell time after reaching set pressure or BDC: 1 second
- Return to upper stop

Joystick function:
The lever can be pulled (downstroke) or pushed (upstroke). The more it is actuated, the faster the machine operates. 1 to 10 mm/sec for downstroke, and 1 to 25 mm/sec for upstroke are possible.

Monitor display:
The large touchscreen monitor always shows the ram position, set pressure, and current speed.

In semi-automatic mode, all cycle values are visible, can be saved, and reloaded as needed.

The operator panel consists of two-hand control, joystick, emergency stop button, and selector switches for:
- Extending/retracting the table (activates two-hand operation)
- Tilting/leveling the table (activates two-hand operation)
- Raising/lowering the ram (activates joystick)
- Lowering/raising the ram plate (activates two-hand operation)
