Profile straightening press 150 T with two hydraulic cylinders.
The straightening machine is set up for the respective material type using replaceable, rounded spacer elements. The 10 inserts can be changed manually by simply sliding them into the holding grooves. The delivery scope includes a basic set for one profile. After setup, the program for the respective profile is selected via the monitor. The monitor displays the ideal contour line and an ascending and descending millimeter scale with 0.5 mm grid lines. The profile to be straightened is placed on the left side of the table, pushed against a stop, and clamped using a quick-clamping device. Both the stop and the quick-clamping device are quickly adjustable and mounted on a clamping plate. This clamping plate travels left and right on a linear guide. Movement is powered by a chain drive and a servomotor. Operation is controlled via joystick at the operator panel.
After the profile is clamped, the operator moves the clamping plate into the press using the joystick. The travel speed can reach up to 100 mm per second but can be infinitely reduced to 10 mm per second; this is easily accomplished by reducing joystick pressure. A high-resolution camera displays the profile inside the press. The operator can observe exactly how the profile deviates from the ideal line. Depending on requirements, the operator pushes or pulls the profile into the desired alignment. Then, the operator continues slowly through the press, checking on the monitor whether the profile is now completely straight. If necessary, the operator can go forwards or backwards to make further adjustments. Once straightening is complete, the profile exits the press on the right and can be removed. The clamping plate can then be returned to the left loading position, or loaded from the right for time optimization.
Operation of the press is only permissible under the following conditions:
Permissible ambient temperature: 5-60 °C
Permissible relative humidity: at 20°C - 90%, at 40°C - 50%
Installation altitude above sea level: +1000 m
Permissible electrical grid fluctuations: +/- 10%
