Sharpening a drill bit takes just three steps:
1. Clamp the drill bit in the fixture
2. Sharpen the drill bit
3. Point the drill bit

Done in less than a minute!

Before clamping the drill bit, use the rotary knob on the grinder to set the drill diameter. Insert the drill bit with the appropriately sized collet into the fixture and align it to the stop in the machine’s left holder, then clamp it securely.

Sharpening the cutting edges and pointing the drill are both straightforward. Switch on the machine, insert the fixture with the drill into the right holder, and gently rotate from stop to stop – the first cutting edge is done. Now rotate the fixture 180° to sharpen the second edge.

Pointing is performed in the same way, only using the upper holder. That’s it. Simply switch off the machine and release the drill bit.

A brilliant design combines an eccentric and a special grinding wheel to eliminate any concerns about cutting edge shape or clearance angle. Additionally, both cutting edges are formed with identical settings, which ensures perfect cutting symmetry. You can also freely choose the point angle between 90° and 140° prior to sharpening.

21 highly precise collets for diameters from 3 to 13 mm in 0.5-mm increments guarantee concentric clamping.

The grinding wheel lasts for over 5,000 operations. Alongside the standard CBN grinding wheel for HSS tools, we also offer a diamond wheel for carbide drills. Changing wheels takes just seconds with a few simple steps, and two safety switches prevent accidental start-up when the machine is open.

The compact design of the drill bit grinding machine and the practical carrying handle make it ideal for mobile use. All accessories, such as collets, fixtures, or Allen keys, are stored on the machine, so you always have what you need with you.
