Hartum PT-M

The PT-M belt conveyor offered by Hartum is designed to serve as an auxiliary machine in your facility, forming the starting point of any small or large production line. It significantly facilitates the loading process of components into a grinder, allowing you to reduce the number of operators involved in the grinding process.

Loading components into the grinder is achieved by setting the magazine support in the desired position (adapted to the length and height of the workpieces; the magazine moves along the entire length of the conveyor), adjusting the spacing of the dividing separators, placing the batch onto the transporter surface, and setting the appropriate feed speed using a potentiometer. The magazine support, made of durable aluminium and set at an optimal angle, enables smooth picking of individual components without risking surface damage. Parts are fed one at a time at defined intervals until the batch is depleted.

Automatic component feeding gives the operator time to supervise the grinding process and to unload finished parts from the grinder.
