GOM Scan 1 works with ZEISS INSPECT, the established standard in 3D measurement technology. Powerful mesh editing functions support you in projects such as 3D printing and reverse engineering. At the same time, ZEISS INSPECT streamlines your entire inspection process, whether for simple or complex inspection tasks. This software simplifies and accelerates your workflows.
The projection unit of the GOM Scan 1 is based on Blue Light Technology. The sensor uses narrow-band blue light and filters out ambient light interference during image acquisition. Thanks to the powerful light source, short measuring times are achieved.
With ZEISS INSPECT, you can smooth, decimate, and refine polygon meshes, fill holes, or extract curvature lines. The result is highly precise meshes that can be saved in numerous formats. Another advantage is our smart polygonization – enabling you to create meshes with maximum detail retention while keeping file sizes manageable.
