The GIF kitchen ventilation ceiling is a surface-active, all-in-one solution from wall to wall, including large extraction and supply air zones, integrated lighting, and compensation areas with a construction height of only 200 mm. Utilization of the ceiling cavity as a pressure chamber in accordance with VDI 2052 permits both “open” and “closed” system configurations, maximizing air-actively functional surface areas at all times. This ensures comprehensive capture of vapors and fumes from cooking, frying, and other sources, as well as large-area supply air distribution with minimal turbulence, providing a comfortable indoor climate without condensation or drafts. The unique modular system guarantees maximum transparency and hygiene with a fully reversible design.

The unique modular system ensures the highest levels of transparency and hygiene, thanks to its fully reversible construction. On the supply air side, the GIF active cassette ceiling is used for low-turbulence, wide-area supply air introduction according to the layered flow principle. Energy-efficient operation comes as standard. Special design features guarantee indirect supply air guidance, even with large air volumes at low inlet velocities and without inducing airflow impulses. Because the active cassettes are identical for both supply and extract air zones, they can be interchanged as needed.
