Pipe Cutting Machine FZH VARIO 2 with Magazine 2.9 m (Year of Manufacture 2016)

Automatic pipe cutting system VARIO 2 from FZH Maschinenbau GmbH, built in 2016. The line is designed for cutting round pipes to length and has been used in series production of furniture fittings. The system comprises a magazine with a singling system, feed unit, pipe cutting head, as well as removal and deburring unit.

Application area:
– Automatic series cutting of round tubes
– Tube diameter approx. Ø 6.0–78.0 mm
– Wall thickness approx. 0.1–1.5 mm (plastic up to approx. 2.0 mm)
– Cut lengths from approx. 70 mm, typical lengths 200–1,200 mm
– Suitable for steel tubes (e.g. E195) and various other tube materials

Machine basic data (excerpt according to manufacturer's documentation):
– Outside tube diameter: Ø 6.0 mm to 78.0 mm
– Wall thickness: 0.1–1.5 mm (plastics up to 2.0 mm)
– Cut lengths: 70–700 mm in one feed stroke, greater lengths possible through regripping
– Minimum cut length: 70 mm
– Shortest scrap length: 150 mm
– Tube input: cut-to-length or from coil
– Cycle time pure cutting: approx. 4 s (depending on material)
– Feed for 200 mm pipe length: approx. 2 s
– Feed for 500 mm pipe length: approx. 5 s
– Feed for 1,200 mm pipe length: approx. 16 s
