FOBA offers the V.0102-gn, a marking laser operating in the green spectrum (532 nm wavelength) with minimal thermal impact. Thanks to its 10-watt laser power, markings are applied to surfaces with outstanding speed and contrast, even on materials that cannot be adequately marked with other wavelengths. These include many white and transparent plastics, highly reflective metals, and material composites.

Even red or orange plastic surfaces—which, due to their color properties, often provide poor contrast—can be marked with perfectly legible codes and characters. The marking quality is equally impressive on specialty plastics such as UHMWPE, HDPE, and PMMA. In most cases, green lasers also eliminate the need for laser additives.
The FOBA V.0102-gn marking laser bridges the gap between UV (355 nm) and fiber (1064 nm) laser systems, thus addressing the most demanding marking applications.
Typical applications for the V.0102-gn include automotive and aerospace manufacturing, as well as in medical technology, electronics, extrusion processes, and the marking of sensitive materials such as ceramics, flame-retardant plastics, and plastics and materials intended for invasive use.
