The bevel-helical gear units of the 14 LA series are three-stage gearboxes with case-hardened gears and welded housings. The shafts are supported in rolling bearings. The slow-running shaft is designed as a hollow shaft. Torque transmission from the hollow shaft to the output shaft is via key and taper bush connections. The gear units can be operated in both rotational directions. Right- and left-hand installation is possible without modifying the gearbox.
