The PUR 2 kg light eSmart bag melter is suitable for edge banding machines with lower adhesive consumption.
Tank size compatible with all standard PUR bag packs in 2–3 kg sizes.
Modular system: All components can be replaced individually. Simply remove the metal casing to quickly access all relevant components.
Melting capacity up to 2 kg/h (depending on adhesive and viscosity).

The solid PUR adhesive, wrapped in aluminum foil, is placed into the tank. Here, it is gently liquefied according to demand.
A glue reservoir is located beneath the tank, storing up to 0.7 kg of adhesive in liquid form.
From there, the adhesive is conveyed by a gear pump through a FE-MA-TECH® hot-melt hose and a heated application head (valve) to the applicators (IMA, Homag, etc.).
The system is fully airtight, allowing adhesive to remain in the system for several months with correct operation.
