5. Technical Description
The machine works with a wet grinding process and must only be operated with a suitable grinding emulsion.

A band filter system is used to filter out the grinding dust generated from the emulsion.

The machine is equipped with an elastic sanding drum, which is used for surface grinding or burr removal. Two counter-rotating abrasive flap brushes, or alternatively stainless steel brush rollers, are then used for edge rounding. Two subsequent spring steel brushes are used to remove the oxide layer from the cut edges.

Within the machine, pressure rollers hold down the workpieces on the continuous conveyor belt, keeping the parts in position during the grinding process.

=> This results in a minimum workpiece length of 350 mm.

At the discharge end, there is an integrated drying unit to dry the workpieces before they exit the machine.

The machine is equipped with a continuous conveyor belt for workpiece transport.

An optional special version may include a vacuum suction system or a magnetic conveyor. This allows for processing of smaller workpiece sizes. For non-magnetic small parts, a minimum length of 80 mm with a minimum area of 200 cm² applies. For magnetic small parts, a minimum length of 80 mm with a minimum area of 40 cm² applies.

All sanding and brush elements are fitted with nozzle tubes, which continuously spray the tools with emulsion, enabling the processing of aluminium and its alloys.

The grinding residue is carried away by the emulsion to the band filter unit and collected by a suitable filter fleece.
