DEA (brown & sharpe) DEA FIVE

The FIVE clamping system consists of a series of height-adjustable columns that serve as workpiece holders. The columns are available in different heights to allow inspection of workpieces in their subsequent installation form.

An air cushion located at the base of the columns ensures smooth movement of the columns on the measuring plate. High-performance magnets lock the column in place as soon as the air supply decreases.

The measuring software guides a gripper, which is attached to the measuring machine’s quill, to the correct position. This allows the operator to quickly position the column at the calculated target point.

A wide range of interchangeable support and clamping modules enables the configuration of specific referencing modules for each clamping position. The referencing modules ensure that the workpiece can be mounted repeatably to the FIVE column. This allows the workpiece to be removed from the measuring table as often as needed.

Accessories can be upgraded with new components according to customer requirements.
