APPLICATIONS
The S-Series granulators are primarily used as large central granulators for in-house recycling applications to process large, thick-walled parts in a single stage, or as a secondary granulator following a shredder to achieve higher throughput rates.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The high-performance granulators of the S-Series are available in widths from 600 to 1000 mm with rotor diameters of 400 and 560 mm. The fully welded, heavy-duty steel construction is engineered for durability to handle the most demanding and versatile applications. Rotor bearings, knife holders, and the rotor shaft are generously dimensioned for maximum reliability. The standard V-cut technology ensures a high-quality regrind with a very low proportion of fines in the output material. The removable third stator knife (optional) functions as a deflector wedge and allows for rapid adaptation of the machine to different application scenarios. Other standard features include easily adjustable knives from the outside, reducing the risk of contamination.

S-SERIES – HIGH-PERFORMANCE GRANULATOR ADVANTAGES:
» The easily removable deflector wedge acts as a third stator knife and can be adjusted to set the rotor’s aggressiveness at the initial cutting point.
» V-cut technology produces high-quality regrind while simultaneously reducing energy consumption and noise levels.
» The high-performance bearings are separated from the cutting chamber to prevent lubricant ingress and bearing failure, thus avoiding potential material contamination.
» Both rotor and stator knives are adjusted from the outside.
