Industrial metal lathe CORMAK 460 x 1500 – robust cast iron bed construction, equipped with a 12-speed gearbox and a powerful 5.5 kW/400V induction motor – maximum torque, large spindle bore of 80 mm. Recommended for turning hard steels and mechanical turning. Suitable for various tasks, such as internal and external surface turning, taper turning, polishing, metric and inch threading, drilling, and broaching.

Machine Description:

- Universal lathe 460 x 1500 CORMAK can be used for many operations such as internal and external turning, taper turning, polishing, metric, inch, module, and DP threading, drilling, and broaching.
- The solid cast iron bed construction provides maximum vibration reduction. Additionally, the bed is hardened and precisely ground. An adequate bed width of 300 mm ensures stable and precise working conditions.
- Digital readout operates on (3) three axes: longitudinal, cross, and top slide movement. Processed electronic signals from optical scales display axis movement values on the digital screen.
- The lathe is fitted with a high-quality, reinforced spindle bearing system.
- Optimal performance is ensured by a large 80 mm spindle bore, a 250 mm 3-jaw chuck, and a powerful 5.5 kW motor.
- Rapid longitudinal and cross feed system significantly shortens machining times and increases productivity.
- Hardened and ground gears in the spindle gearbox – guarantee long-term operational stability.

- Equipped with a lead screw and feed shaft for thread cutting and automatic longitudinal and cross feeds.
- Easy spindle speed and automatic feed adjustment from the ergonomic control panel on the gearbox.
- Capable of machining a wide range of threads without changing the change gears in the quick-change gearbox. Wide threading range: metric (41) 0.1–14 mm, inch (60) 2–112 T.P.I, module (34) 0.1–7 M.P., DP thread (50) 4–112 D.P. Right- and left-hand threading.
- Thread chasing dial for precise counting of thread leads. The function is designed to save time, allowing the lead screw nut to be disengaged in a few passes and quickly return the carriage to the starting position manually.
- The bed is fitted with a removable gap for machining large-diameter components, e.g. flanges. This lathe model allows machining workpieces up to 690 mm in diameter with the gap bridge removed.
