Cormak S200R Manual Bandsaw for industrial applications. This metal-cutting bandsaw features high cutting accuracy, ensured by a robust cast iron rotating table synchronized with a pivoting arm. The bandsaw is designed for use in large industrial facilities, capable of operating 16h/24h. Cutting angles range from -45º to the left up to 60º to the right.

Machine Features

The CORMAK S-200 R MANUAL bandsaw (CE-compliant) enables perpendicular cutting relative to the axis of the material or miter cutting at any angle from -45° to +60°. The workpiece can be fed manually or by any automated feeding device.

The cutting feed operates by gravity via an oil flow through a dual-chamber hydraulic cylinder. The appropriate arm descent speed is achieved using a valve regulating oil flow between chambers. The operator starts the machine by pressing the start button and sets the cutting speed. Upon finishing the cut, the machine stops automatically, and the operator manually lifts the arm to the starting position. Material feeding is manual.

The vise is mounted on an adjustable bed and features a quick-clamp system. Blade guides are equipped with carbide inserts and roller bearings, where the CARBIDE BLADE GUIDES are responsible for high cutting precision and straightness. The arm features an automatic blade tension sensor and is inclined by 25 degrees, extending blade life. A cleaning brush is mounted under the arm for optimal blade cleanliness and function.

The machine’s drive is transmitted through a worm gearbox filled with gear oil. The machine is equipped with a three-phase motor with double winding and two cutting speeds.

Thermal overload protection on the motor. The saw offers two blade speeds: 35 and 70 m/min. Construction: the arm, vise, and rotary table are all cast iron.

The machine features a closed-loop coolant system. It is supplied with a stop and ruler for precise length adjustment of the workpiece. The machine base is a rigid steel sheet cuboid, housing a coolant tank with a pump system.

Safety during operation is ensured by an electrical system meeting all CE requirements. The machine is equipped with a limit switch that stops the machine after each cutting cycle, an emergency stop button (“mushroom” type), and multiple micro-switches that disable operation, e.g., when the belt or band covers are open.
