Der durchgehende Gusssägearm in Kombination mit dem 27 mm breiten Sägeband ermöglicht Serienkopfschnitte von Profilen und Vollmaterialien. Die Form des oberen Gestellbereichs dient als Wanne zur Aufnahme von Kühlmittel und Spänen, die beim Schneiden entstehen. Ein Gusseisentisch mit schwenkbarem Arm sowie ein Bedienfeld auf einem separaten Arm sind am Grundkörper befestigt. Während des Schneidvorgangs ist die Bewegung des Sägebands sowie der Absenkvorgang des Arms die Hauptschnittbewegung. Die Absenkgeschwindigkeit des Arms (Schnittgeschwindigkeit) wird durch einen Hydraulikzylinder geregelt. Die Vorschubgeschwindigkeit lässt sich am Bedienfeld einstellen. Es sind zwei Schnittbandgeschwindigkeiten wählbar: 35 und 70 m/min. In der unteren Armstellung (nach Beendigung des Schnitts) wird der Bandantrieb automatisch abgeschaltet. Die Sicherheit wird durch Bandabdeckungen und Mikroschalter gewährleistet, die den Motor nach Abschluss des Schnittzyklus oder beim Öffnen einer Abdeckung stoppen. Zusätzlich sorgt eine automatische Abschaltung der Maschine beim Bandriss für Schutz. The machine features a reinforced vise base and a quick-release vise. Machine Features The CORMAK HBS320 metal bandsaw allows angle cutting in the range from -45° to +60°. The workpiece can be fed manually or using an automatic feeder. Downfeed during cutting is gravity-based, utilizing oil flow control in the hydraulic cylinder. The operator starts the machine by pressing the start button and sets the cutting speed. Upon completion of the cycle, the machine automatically stops and the operator raises the arm to the starting position. The saw arm is made from a robust, single-piece grey cast iron casting. Combined with a 27 mm wide saw blade, it enables high-volume cutting of structural, stainless, and tool steels. The vise is mounted on an adjustable bed and fitted with a quick-release clamping system. The blade guides feature rolling bearings and carbide inserts, ensuring excellent cutting precision and straightness. This significantly improves blade guidance, longevity, accuracy, and cut quality, while the carbide guides greatly reduce wear on both the machine and the blade. The base is constructed as a rigid, welded steel body housing a separate coolant tank with an electric pump.
