CORMAK IMET CUBO 400NC FLAT

The CUBO 400 NC model is a modern band saw that provides user safety thanks to a guard made of specially designed metal sheets, protecting all four sides and all moving parts of the band saw. The guard system enables full access to the machine and ease of maintenance.

An innovative and user-friendly 7" touchscreen with an intuitive interface allows complete control over all machine settings. It is possible to program up to 99 cutting programs and 10 different cutting lengths on the same bar.

CNC control gives access to all operational functions: automatic calculation of blade thickness, number of stroke repetitions, band speed, and blade lowering speed. The interface also allows monitoring the CUBO work status and troubleshooting using a self-diagnostic function.

An integrated feeder for automatic repetition of the cutting process. The feeder moves on a hardened and chromed guide; high positioning accuracy is ensured by precise feeding with a ball screw and backlash-free (self-braking) motor, mounted on a floating plate to compensate for loads when working with irregular bars.

The saw body features a rigid cast iron construction made of square-section tubes, ensuring high resistance to deformation and improved performance with all types of material. The bow is equipped with an endless screw and a crown made of highly durable bronze alloy.

The mechanical material detection device allows rapid blade approach to the material, automatically detecting the first cutting point. The end cut is controlled by a microswitch on the blade guide, enabling perfect band positioning thanks to hardened metal pads and additional bearings.

IMET automatic machines can be connected to the company network and used remotely via the SAWFACTORY system and modem. SAWFACTORY is dedicated software that allows process management from the office by setting programs and monitoring operation via a web application. The software also enables remote technical support.
