Machine description

The CORMAK H-50/70 double-column band saw is a high-performance machine for semi-automatic cutting cycles of solid materials and profiles made from steel, cast iron, and non-ferrous metals. The double-column design provides increased rigidity during the cutting process, while the entirely different arm and blade guidance technology, compared to scissor-type machines, significantly reduces cutting time and increases accuracy.

In the CORMAK H-50/70 semi-automatic band saw, once the start switch is activated, the entire cutting cycle—including hydraulic vise clamping of the material, blade movement initiation, lowering of the cutting arm (speed smoothly adjustable), machine stop at the end of the cut, arm lift (lifting height adjustable), and hydraulic vise release—takes place automatically. Manual operation is simplified to material feed against a stop. The robust arm, made from a single cast-iron piece, together with the refined, heavy, and stable frame construction, gives the CORMAK H-50/70 saw exceptional rigidity. This translates into trouble-free operation and highly precise cuts.

Blade tension control ensures optimal operating conditions for the blade. In the event of blade breakage, the machine stops automatically. Blade precision is ensured by guides composed of bearings and carbide inserts.
