Horizontal band saw with a swiveling arm for cutting metals, capable of making cuts in a plane perpendicular to the axis of the material and at any angle from 0 to 60º. Material can be fed manually or with any mechanical feeder, paired with automatic tool feed. The saw blade guides feature dedicated carbide inserts and bearings, which greatly influence blade guidance, blade life, cutting straightness, precision, and cut quality.

The machine arm is made from profiled CAST IRON. The control panel is located by the arm. Power from the electric motor is transmitted to the band drive wheel via a worm gear motor. The band saw blade is tensioned on two cast iron wheels by a manual tensioner and guided by an adjustable rolling and linear carbide guide assembly. Inside, there is a separate coolant tank with an electric pump. The rate of arm descent (cutting speed) is regulated by a hydraulic cylinder. Feed speed is controlled via the control panel. Two blade speeds are available: 36 and 72 m/min. In the resting position of the arm (after the cutting process), the saw blade drive is automatically switched off. Safety is ensured by blade guards and microswitches that stop the motor after the cutting cycle or when any guard is opened; additional protection is provided by automatic shutdown of the band saw in the event of blade breakage.
