Coatema Easycoater

The Easycoater is designed to quickly and reliably produce product samples in DIN A4 or other substrate sizes. It can be equipped with a slot die, a doctor blade, or a flat screen-printing module.

The Easycoater is controlled by a Siemens S7 unit, enabling reproducible production of samples or small product batches. The system is very user-friendly and, in addition to the various coating and printing methods, can be equipped with an electrically heated drying system (also available as UV or infrared). The Easycoater is fully enclosed and can also be supplied with an EEx-rated version. The coating area is fitted with source extraction. An installation in a glove box with an inert atmosphere is also possible.

Both the high-precision granite coating table, available as a vacuum table, and the modular mounts for the doctor blade and slot die can be motor-driven. The movement paths of the unit beneath the application system and subsequently under the dryer can be pre-programmed, allowing for precise drying cycles. When equipped with the optional motorized adjustment of the coating gap, settings in the 1-µm range are possible at any time. The high precision enables the system’s use in technologies requiring utmost accuracy.
