CHIRON FZ08MT

This machine is equipped with a 2m LNS bar loader, enabling fully automated production of milled and turned parts from bar stock.

On the main spindle side, there is an E162 power chuck with a bar capacity of Ø10mm. The bar loader itself is designed for material up to Ø65mm in diameter.
Additionally, the machine features a pneumatically operated two-jaw chuck for comprehensive secondary machining of parts on the sub-spindle. These finished parts can then be removed by an integrated parts gripper and deposited onto a conveyor belt.
The machine was retrofitted by CHIRON specifically for precious metal machining. This primarily involved reinforcing the internal seals and replacing the conventional chip conveyor with a drawer-type filter system using a fabric filter.
