Heater Element Welding Machine HP60/40 by BRANSON
The drive system is hydraulic, supported by positioning and control systems. The machine is equipped with its own vacuum pump.
Usable heater element area: width 600 mm x depth 400 mm
Max. part dimensions:

The modular frame construction of the machine allows for easy modification work. The side doors and front door in the welding area can be easily opened for quick tool changes. The automatic safety lift door ensures high operator safety.
The temperature control units on the control panel feature actual/target value displays. The operator interface is a Siemens PLC device. Machine control is performed by a Siemens PLC (S7-300 controller).
The heating elements are equipped with temperature sensors for temperature regulation, which also serve as safety cut-offs in case of overheating. The pin systems in the tool clamping surfaces enable reproducible positioning.
Advantages of heater element welding technology:
- Reliable welding of workpieces with thin or varying wall thicknesses is possible.
- Low reject rate due to precise and reproducible welds.
- Sensitive parts can also be welded thanks to precise time, temperature, and force control.
- Almost all thermoplastics can be welded using this process.
- Different types of plastics can be welded together (compatibility must be checked).
