In the shrinking tunnel, "RT Regentunnel," the product is sprayed with a true hot water shower from three different sources, both from above and below. Upon contact with the heat source (hot water), the bag shrinks and closely conforms to the product surface with a so-called "skin effect." This "rain system" ensures optimal shrink results while simultaneously keeping water and energy consumption low. The circulated water, approximately 150 liters, is reused in a closed loop via a pump. Compared to traditional immersion processes requiring approximately 380 liters of hot water, the energy required for heating is significantly reduced.
